The Eucharist is the ‘source and summit’ of our faith life, sustaining us in our mission as Catholic Christians by providing nourishment and encouragement for our journey in discipleship. In this ENCOUNTER series, Professor Clare Johnson will relate how the liturgical celebration, particularly the Eucharist, facilitates the building up of the Body of Christ, emphasising that we are anointed and sent to live the life of the Gospel in the world.
