Admin Assistant – Part Time (16 hours per week)

Lower North Shore Parish is a vibrant Catholic faith community comprised of St Thomas’ (Willoughby), St Leonard's (Naremburn) and St Philip Neri (Northbridge), and is the most southern Parish in Broken Bay Diocese.

Reporting to the Parish Manager, the Admin Assistant’s primary responsibilities are:

  • Parish Bulletin – Collation, editing, printing and uploading to website.
  • Reception duties, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, coordinating the parish diary.
  • Church deliveries - Distributing altar breads, candles, bulletins, appeal envelopes, and notices to our 3 Churches each week.
  • Registers – Recording in PACS and Parish Registers for sacraments and notifications as required to comply with Diocesan guidelines.
  • Music Copyright, Liturgical Rosters and Ministries maintenance.

The Admin Assistant will need to work as part of a collaborative team with the Parish Manager, and priests of our Parish. Central to this role will be your ability to contribute to and provide a shared understanding of the Parish’s mission, and to provide a confident, personal and professional image of welcome, openness and service.

Salary and conditions will be consistent with Diocesan guidelines according to experience and qualifications. Applicants must satisfy the Diocesan requirements under the Child Protection Legislation.
